Energy Issues

Congress is attempting to craft legislation to set the direction of our energy future for the next 40 years with tremendous speed and with limited debate. Mississippi’s electric power associations, through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), have engaged in helping with this effort, but the proposed legislation violates our benchmarks of balance and fairness for supporting such legislation.
