Electric
Power Associations of Mississippi (AAL),
located in Ridgeland, Miss., is a service
organization created for the benefit of
the state's 26 member-owned electric power
associations. Organized in 1944, the Electric
Power Associations of Mississippi offers
member associations services that include:
- Government
Relations
- Economic
Development
- Publication
of Today in Mississippi
- Safety
and Loss Control
Other
benefits include youth programs, communications,
marketing and member services, employee
training, and assistance with special projects.
By
utilizing their statewide organization,
Mississippi's electric power associations
can operate more efficiently, keeping rates
to their members-owners as low as possible
while maintaining high service levels.
